With their long, slender necks, rich olive-brown glaze and wonderfully bold swirls and triangles, they're the sort of everyday objects that make mid-century design so much fun.

Designed by Graham Tongue for British pottery maker Beswick, the Zorba range made its debut in 1968 and continued into the early 1970s. Both shakers are marked 2248 underneath, and even better, the original black rubber stoppers are still there.

Brand: Beswick, England
Pattern: Zorba
Condition: Very good vintage condition
Sourced in: Napier, NZ

Collector Note: This pair is part of our Mid-Century Ceramics Curated Collection, celebrating the distinctive shapes, colours and patterns that made vintage ceramics so memorable.

👉 Explore all new & vintage Home Decor
👉 Explore more from our Mid-Century Ceramics Curated Collection
👉 Explore more vintage Beswick ceramics

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0029/1124/0303/files/vintage-beswick-zorba-salt-pepper-shakers-front-planet-retro-nz.jpg?v=1792690718
