How Do I Make An Order?

Just click on the product of your choice, add it to your cart. This will take you to your shopping cart where quantities can also be changed. Then click 'checkout' to fill out yourΒ shipping and payment details. Either enter your credit card details to pay for your chosen items or we also offer other payment options.

How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Your shipping rate is displayed at checkout. Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and size of items and your geographical location. Deliveries are sent with no signature required.Β 

Depending on the carrier, parcels will be delivered in the next 2-4 working daysΒ to addresses in the main metro areas of both North and South Islands.Β  For smaller centres allow another working day for delivery.

Residential and Rural deliveries (RD) can take up to an extra 24 to 72 hours as some carriers pass their parcels onto RD contractors who then make the delivery. Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the delivery point agreed with you.


Please ensure the delivery address and receiver’s name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we may be unable to change these details once the order has been placed.

We will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you.

How Long Does An Order Take To Arrive?

Most orders take 2-4 days nationwide, with rural and South Island orders usually taking an extra day.

Once an order leaves our warehouse, carrier shipping delays may occur due to factors outside our control. We, unfortunately, can’t control how quickly an order arrives once it has left our warehouse. Contacting the carrier is the best way to get more insight into your package’s location and estimated delivery date.

How Can I Choose The Right Size For Me?

We include actual garment measurements on our product pages to help you choose the best fit. These are listed either in the product description or shown clearly in the product images.

We recommend comparing these measurements to a similar item you already own, rather than relying on standard brand sizing, as fit can vary.

Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?

Planet Retro accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:

Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.

How Can I Track My Order?

Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase, follow its preparation, and see shipping updates in the My Account area.

Can I Return My Items?

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

Please note:

We do not offer returns or refunds for sale items, gift cards, or for change of mind or fit on clothing purchases. Many of our pieces are limited, vintage, or one-off, so all clothing and sale items are considered final sale unless faulty.

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us so we can help assess the issue.

We do not currently offer free returns for overseas customers. Any return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a registered, trackable service and retaining proof of postage, as we can’t accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive.
