Shipping Policy

Planet Retro currently ships worldwide around Planet Earth! We do not ship to galaxies far, far away. We do use a variety of carriers for domestic and international deliveries. Here's how!
READY TO ORDER?
Sweet! You'll notice in the checkout we use address verification to ensure consistent addressing. This includes NZ postcodes. If you're unsure of the correct address or postcode for your delivery address? Check NZ Post’s Address Finder.
Please ensure the delivery address and receiver’s name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we may be unable to change these details once the order has been placed.
We will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you.
ORDER PROCESSING
Once your order is received, we are all super happy and have warm feels! We get straight onto processing your order, usually within 24 hours. Expect an email from us no later than 48 hours to let you know your order is on the way. Tracking details will be included in your email. If when processing your order we discover a possible delay, or for whatever reason we are unable to supply an item, we'll email you quick smart to discuss available options to put it right.
We will endeavour to deliver goods based on the estimates below but, to the maximum extent permitted by law we will not be held liable for late delivery. The carriers don't travel in a TARDIS, so unexpected delays can sometimes happen that are entirely out of our (and their) hands.
You must notify us within 8 days of the dispatch date (as per the tracking email we send confirming dispatch) if your item hasn't turned up. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
NZ DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES
We are pleased to offer free NZ shipping for orders over $150! Noice.
Your shipping rate is displayed at checkout. Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and size of items and your geographical location. Deliveries are sent with no signature required.
Depending on the carrier, parcels will be delivered in the next 2-4 working days to addresses in the main metro areas of both North and South Islands. For smaller centres allow another working day for delivery.
Residential and Rural deliveries (RD) can take up to an extra 24 to 72 hours as some carriers pass their parcels onto RD contractors who then make the delivery.
Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the delivery point agreed with you.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
Your shipping rate is displayed at checkout. Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and size of items and your geographical location.
Planet Retro currently uses FedEx or NZPost to ship items overseas. Estimated delivery time is dependent on your location. Please refer to the order tracking email we send you.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Planet Retro is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
